Oh my god. I can live here and die happy eating this every single day of my life. The ramen is amazing and the service is great! Aghhhh i want some now!

Ramen has been spectacular! I got the Spicy Pork Ajisen Ramen and Black milk tea boba! Both were worth it. Prices are decent compared to the other places. Must try!

incredible food and pretty cheap prices. highly recommend if in Chinatown or looking for somewhere to eat. don't go after 9:00 because they want to be able to close on time. tip added to check for you; it's customary in Asian countries so don't be alarmed.

Delicious food. For a cozy restaurant that's been open for almost 2 decades, their food quality has been pretty consistent over the years! I recommend their Chicken Teriyaki ramen. Service is very fast and attentive as well (I come here during my lunch breaks so it helps). I will continue to eat here frequently!

This is such a excellent ramen spot. The wait time is quick, for seating and for eating. The food is great (pork buns are wonderful). They have a creamy melon soda that is out of this world. Their prices are fair and there portions are filling. This is my new go to spot for ramen. Haven’t tried their non-noodle options to be fair.

I'm not understanding all the good reviews. Maybe I just didn't have a good chef today. Ordered on doordash: taro bubble tea, fried squid, ajisen ramen. They didn't send my drink, squid was so hard you could barely chew it, and ramen was so plain and boring with barely any toppings. I can get way better for the same price elsewhere. Thumbs down from me.

This is my favorite one and only ramen place. Staff is always nice and attentive. Its decor is beautiful. The food is always great. Also child friendly place to eat :) I've been coming here for years.

I had a great experience. The place is very welcoming, staff is super attentive. My server Linda was superb, she answered all our questions and explained everything in detail. The food was good, however the ramen it’s not the best we’ve had, the Philadelphia rolls were good and I loved the jelly drinks. This is not a fancy place, but they have great prices and I definitely enjoyed it!

Went there for dinner. We had Japanese dumplings which were very good, however my veg ramen was way too spicy and it was supposed to be plain. The staff was friendly and got me another one which turned out to be over salted. I wish they had more veggies in it as well. My husband got a bowl of rice with beef which was delicious. Just make sure to specify how you’d like your food to be, so that you enjoy your meal.

The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly and accommodating. Great selection and very reasonable prices.

BEAWARE!!! They add 18% to your check automatically. They did not put it on their website nor the store that 18% tip is required. It is not required to pay 18% tip by law. I ordered take out when I am done. They added 18% tip to that also and wouldn’t do anything when I bring to their attention that I shouldn’t have to tip a take out. They are just trying everything to rob you! For those who just give the credit card without reading the check, YOU WILL END UP DOUBLE TIPPING! WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!

The atmosphere was so soothing and calm. The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered vegetable spring rolls and the Tom Yum Ramen, and highly recommend both! It was an explosion of flavor!!!

You get a huge bowl of great ramen at a great price! They have other delicious Japanese appetizers and entrees if you're not so keen on ramen that there's something for everyone. Noodles are perfect and tasty and the sushi there is delicious as well! Staff are kind and friendly and while this location is small it's cozy ambience makes the food even better, definitely worth the wait!

I’ve been coming here since 2016 but now they force an 18% tip with your check and still have the tip line so be careful not to tip twice. Other than that, ramen is always good.

When upon paying, 18% service fee was charged and we werent informed ahead of time. I would love to pay the tips but felt otherwise when we had to be forced to pay for the service. Wont come back!

Amazing!!! This was our first trip to New York City and we came here TWICE! Lovely food and great staff!!! We will come again :) once we are in the city. I’m drooling writing this remembering the taste of food aghhhhh....

The chicken katsu curry ramen is very delicious! Not spicy but the ginger cleansed my sinuses. Everything was very fresh today. Spring rolls and squid balls were very tasty too. Service was really great and food came out fast and hot. Our servers were very helpful and amiable. Overall very thing was amazing. They charge 18% gratuity automatically. Bathrooms are in the basement and they are not that well kept.

Ajisen is one of those spots that is a New York classic. Rich, cultured and friendly environment, coupled with great ramen. The staff are timely, engaging and awesome.

This place obviously knows how to please their customers. Consistently with a welcoming mindset. The food is fairly priced, always fresh and clean.

Wow!! This place is superb. My wife and I had spicy beef and spicy chicken ramen and we couldn’t stop saying “wow” as we ate. We may have gotten a few looks from others, but this ramen is ridiculously delicious! The service is excellent as well; our waitress was very informative and helpful in making a choice.

Favorite hang out spot with friends. Tasty broth and the noodles are on point. Recommended for those who like Japanese ramen. It is pricey but compared to Ichiran, jt is nothing.

I had the Spicy Ajisen Ramen and it was absolutely delicious. The egg was slightly over cooked but otherwise it tasted amazing. The food came very quickly. There is a lot of things I would like to try on the menu and I definitely will return if I’m ever in Chinatown again.

Quick fix for ramen when in Chinatown. This place is solid. We came on a Sunday afternoon, it was not packed, the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, the place offers a nice ambiance. The prices are good, you get your money's worth. We ordered the Ajisen deluxe comes with roast pork AND a chunk of roasted ribs, the ribs were so tender, they fall apart and overall is a nice bowl of ramen. They offer more meat than other places I've been to but the roast pork was on the dry side. As an appetizer we got the fried squid which had a nice flavor but they cooked larger squid so the tentacles were more chewy. Is this place a breakthrough ultimate spot for ramen? No but it gives you a thorough and nice bowl that will satisfy your cravings when in Chinatown.

GET THE TENDEROUS RIB RAMEN ! prices are so worth what you get the food and protions are amazing the they also have the best bubble tea I've ever had and I've had a lot of bubble tea in my time seating is good and I have never had to wait long for a seat or food.

The beef sukiyaki ramen was delicious, wel seasoned and filling! We got in, didn’t have to wait for a table, ordered and received our food within 15 minutes, it was that quick! The servers came by often to ask how we were doing, refilled our drinks and took away empty plates and trash. I'd be glad to come again!

9/10 ramen, super delicious. It's very affordable ($12 for a bowl) and has an older-type atmosphere making it feel like its been around for more than 15 years.

I feel very tricked! They add a service charge of 18% to the order total without letting you know plus give you the tip line to add more $$I asked for the reason, I was told it was the tip and he could remove it but I had already signed my credit card slip when I noticed so they refused to refund me!!
